Despite Uber, Lyft, & Taxi Drivers Being Banned from Picking Up At LAX Airport, AM Limo Services Is Still Allowed to Pickup Inside of LAX

Los Angeles, CA – LAX has officially announced that as of October 29, 2019, taxi and rideshare companies are indefinitely banned from performing pickups outside of LAX Airport terminals.

Instead, taxi and rideshare passengers must now be shuttled to a holding lot outside of LAX to meet their drivers.

The good news is that TCP-commercial operators, such as AM Limo Services, are not affected by this ban.

This means that travelers looking to avoid having to ride a shuttle to meet their drivers, can instead hire AM Limo Services to pick them up either outside or inside of their arriving terminal.

In the past, passengers who booked LAX curbside pickups would typically get picked up at the Lower Level Inner Curb outside of their terminal, but that has changed now.

Starting Tuesday October 29th, AM Limo Services passengers that request curbside pickup, can expect to meet their drivers at the Lower Level Outer Commercial Island, which is located one crosswalk over from the original curbside location.

(The Outer Commercial Island can be identified by the white overhead “Passenger Pickup” signage and white painted curb. See photo below.)

Instead, after getting off your plane simply make your way to the baggage claim area of your arriving terminal where you’ll be greeted by a chauffeur holding a namesign.
